SIA Vigyan — the Sanskritised Inference Algorithm
SIA Vigyan is this site, siavigyan.com, and SIA is the engine it is the home of. The name says, plainly, what we do. Sanskritised — the knowledge is the classical Sanskrit corpus itself, quoted in its own words. Inference — the system reasons over what the texts state: it weighs, adjudicates and concludes, the way a learned reader would. Algorithm — every step of that reasoning is computed, checkable and the same for everyone.
SIA is a knowledge system over the Jyotiṣa śāstra. Ask it a question against a birth chart and it answers the way the discipline itself answers: every interpretive sentence carries the identity of the classical verse it came from, retrieved from the text and open to inspection. Where the śāstra is silent, SIA says so; silence is an answer we respect. The strands in the mark are those many verse-streams; the single line they resolve into is the one grounded reading you receive.
An indigenous engine, to the last digit
The planetary mathematics under every chart is our own. Graha positions are computed by an engine built from the Sūrya Siddhānta and the Āryabhaṭīya — the tradition's own astronomy, implemented from the texts by SIA — and refined by a 64,896-term planetary series carried in-house, so every graha stands to a tenth of an arc-minute for the next hundred years. It is SIA's own open computational model: every position in the gaṇita is computed here, live, for your minute and your town, with the Sūryasiddhānta's own steps printed beside the result. From the verse corpus to the planetary engine to the product itself, SIA is 100% made in India.
What the engine holds
6,200 verses of nine classical works — the Bṛhat Parāśara Horā Śāstra (2,753 verses, each citation opening to its folio), Sāravalī, Phaladīpikā, Bṛhajjātaka, the Jaimini Sūtra, the Sūryasiddhānta, Ṣaṭpañcāśikā, Praśna Mārga and Muhūrta Cintāmaṇi — all loaded on the server that answers you. 2,524 grounded rules, each a condition, a result and the verse it was drawn from, citing 1,305 distinct verses. 18 daśā systems, 16 divisional charts, ṣaḍbala and aṣṭakavarga with śodhana and piṇḍa, the 36-guṇa melāpaka with its four doṣas, and a 250-question booklet for recovering a lost birth time. A full kundali runs past a hundred pages and carries more than 800 citations. Every release passes 102 test files and 4,305 checks, and 116 modules validate themselves at load — a rule without its verse stops the build.
What SIA is for
Study, reflection and the honest presentation of what the classical texts say about a chart. It is a reference and a guide — not a substitute for your own judgement, or for professional medical, legal or financial advice.
SIA Vigyan — the name and the site
SIA Vigyan is this site — siavigyan.com — the home of SIA, the Sanskritised Inference Algorithm. Vigyan (विज्ञान) is knowledge in its exact, tested form, and that is the word for what the engine does with the śāstra: it computes, it cites, and it shows its working. SIA Vigyan, SIA Jyotish and SIA Kundali all name the same thing.
