Janam Kundli — cast your kundali by date of birth

Date, exact time and place. SIA computes the sky for that minute with its own engine — to a tenth of an arc-minute — and every reading that follows carries the verse it rests on.

Whose chart is this?

Free with an account: the chart, the graha positions, the Vimśottarī daśā table and your birth pañcāṅga. You sign in on the next step — the details you typed come along.

How to make your kundli

  1. Enter the name, the date, the exact time and the place of birth above.
  2. SIA computes the sidereal positions for that minute and casts the lagna, the twelve bhāvas, the birth nakṣatra and pañcāṅga, the daśā table and all sixteen vargas.
  3. Read the chart. Ask any question in chat, or open the full report — every line carries its verse.

What is in a janam kundli

A janam kundli (janam kundali, birth chart) is the sidereal sky at the moment and place of your birth: the sign rising in the east — the lagna — and the longitude of each graha, laid into twelve bhāvas counted from that lagna. From it SIA derives the birth nakṣatra and pañcāṅga, the Vimśottarī daśā to the prāṇa level, the sixteen divisional charts and the aṣṭakavarga.

The positions come from SIA’s own planetary engine — the Sūryasiddhānta’s steps, refined by an in-house series to a tenth of an arc-minute — on the Lahiri ayanāṃśa every standard pañcāṅga shares. The doctrine page explains each piece with the verses that define it.

Free, and on plans

Free with an account: casting the kundli — the chart itself, the graha positions, the Vimśottarī daśā table, your birth pañcāṅga and the daily Panchang. The verse-cited readings, the chat, the full kundali report, Kundli Milan, Lagna Shodhan and the Dhana-yoga report come with plans, and every new account begins with a 3-day trial of everything.

Questions

Do I need my exact birth time?

Ideally to the minute — the lagna changes sign about every two hours and a bhāva boundary can pass in minutes. If the time is unknown, cast with your best estimate; SIA’s Lagna Shodhan narrows it from what you know about your life.

Which ayanāṃśa does SIA use?

Lahiri (Citrā-pakṣa) — the zero point every standard pañcāṅga shares — on positions computed by SIA’s own engine for the birth minute.

Can I get the kundli in Hindi?

Yes. Chart labels, daśā tables, readings and the PDF are all bilingual, with full Devanagari for rāśis, nakṣatras and grahas.

Can I download my kundli as a PDF?

The full kundali report — a hundred-page classical analysis with 800+ citations — is built on plans and downloads as a PDF; every new account’s trial includes three full reports.
