Kundli Milan — match two kundlis, verse by verse
Enter both people’s birth details. SIA casts both charts, scores the eight kūṭas from the two birth Moons and weighs the doṣas — every row carrying the record it comes from.
You sign in (or create an account) on the next step — the details you typed come along. Kundli Milan is a Professional-plan tool; every new account’s 3-day trial includes one match, and casting the two kundlis themselves is free.
How SIA matches two kundlis
- Enter both people’s date, time and place of birth above.
- SIA casts both charts and computes the eight kūṭas from the two birth Moons — varṇa, vaśya, tārā, yoni, graha-maitrī, gaṇa, bhakūṭa and nāḍī.
- Read the 36-guṇa total, the doṣa panel with its classical waivers, and each partner’s own seventh-house indications from Parāśara — every row with its record.
What the 36 guṇas are
Kundli Milan (kundali matching, gun milan, melāpaka) compares two birth charts through the two birth Moons — the rāśi and nakṣatra each Moon occupies. Eight kūṭas are scored, carrying 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 guṇas in order, 36 in all. Fewer than 18 is read as a match to avoid, 18 to 24 as an acceptable middle, 25 to 32 as very good, 33 to 36 as excellent.
The total is a screening figure. The doṣas — nāḍī, bhakūṭa, gaṇa and the one-sided mangal doṣa — are weighed separately even over a high total, and the two charts’ own seventh houses complete the judgement. The doctrine page quotes every record SIA scores from.
What you receive
The 36-guṇa total with every kūṭa’s points and its rule; the doṣa panel — nāḍī, bhakūṭa, gaṇa, and mangal doṣa computed from the lagna, the Moon and Venus in each chart, one-sided or mutual, with the classical waivers where they hold; each partner’s own marriage indications from Parāśara’s chapter on the seventh house; and the two temperaments compared, with the pair’s year-by-year weather for sixty years. Deterministic arithmetic, the same for everyone with the same two birth moments.
Questions
Is kundli milan free here?
Casting the two kundlis is free with an account. The match itself is a Professional-plan tool (15 matches a month); every new account’s 3-day trial includes one match, so you can run one before choosing a plan.
Do I need the exact birth time?
The eight kūṭas read the two Moons, which move about a degree every two hours — the date and an approximate time usually fix them. Each partner’s own seventh-house indications and the mangal doṣa from the lagna need the time to the minute; SIA states which parts rest on it.
Can I match kundlis by name?
SIA matches from the two birth moments — the Moon’s rāśi and nakṣatra computed for each from the date, time and place — so the score rests on the sky itself. Give both people’s birth details and the match is exact to the pāda.
Is 18 out of 36 a good score?
18 is the threshold the doctrine record sets: fewer than 18 is a match to avoid, 18–24 an acceptable middle, 25–32 very good, 33–36 excellent. A nāḍī or bhakūṭa doṣa is weighed separately even over a high total, and a lower total with no doṣa and sound seventh houses is often the better match.
Is it available in Hindi?
Yes — the whole match, every row and every record, in Hindi or English, switchable at any time.
