Ketu — Ketu
Ketu is the descending node of the Moon, described as of the same form as Rāhu. He belongs to the army of the court, is of mixed class, wears a cloth with holes, is lord of living things (jīva) with Mercury and Jupiter, and holds seven years of the Vimśottarī cycle — its opening period for a Moon in Aśvinī, Maghā or Mūla.

RenderingRāhu is smoke-coloured, blue-bodied, a dweller in forests, terrifying, of vāta constitution and intelligent; Ketu is of the same form as Rāhu.
राजानौ भानुहिमगू नेता ज्ञेयो धरात्मजः। बुधो राजकुमारश्च सचिवौ गुरुभार्गवौ।।३।।
RenderingAmong the grahas Sūrya and Candra are kings, Maṅgala the commander, Budha the prince, Guru and Śukra the ministers, Śani the servant, and Rāhu and Ketu the army.
राहुश्चाण्डालजातिश्च केतुर्जात्यन्तरस्तथा। शिखिस्वर्भानुमन्दानां वल्मीकस्थानमुच्यते।।३०।।
